Studio work for upcoming album

It's official - the new album begins recording on April 6 and 9!!!! The Ball Brothers will all be contributing. (Well, Kenny says he has to hear the songs first.) Not really sure exactly what is going to come out of these sessions. Maybe a few songs from the first album done live? Over dubs by various musicians should be expected. There are hopes of adding mandolin, piano, saxaphone and some interesting percussion. Who knows.
Alan Bean the "Surgeon of Sound" will once again be producing for me at Baked Beans Studio.

The second session of Plugged In and Standin' Up: Brad Hooper and Rough Lumber begins today and finishes up with a live show at The Shipyard Friday night. Great day in the life for a musician. You'll recognize rough lumber when you meet them, they look a lot like the Ball Brothers!

Hosted at the Fare Share Commons Art Gallery. I would like to invite friends and family to be part of the studio audience. Those interested can contact me for more information. It would be great to have a live audience to play for. Taping begins at 7PM. The show will last for approimately 40 minutes and will be edited into a 30 minute time slot.
